The Past Month

Time for a round-up of all the TC goings-on for the last month. I’ll try and keep it short (lol just kidding).

TC.Classic folds

Sadly we have to say goodbye to a few of our long-term players since TC.Classic has decided it is time to call it a day. It is my understanding that computer issues led to roster issues which therefore caused them to fold. We wish them all the best for their future TF2 careers:

& a fine cheerio to their substitutes also. If anyone has anything we can use to blackmail them into staying please let me know.

TC members to participate in UGC All Stars Match

Three of our players have been voted by UGC to play in the upcoming All Stars Match from their division. Those players are:

Cup Cake – Voted to play Medic
Oxy – Voted to play Heavy
Notorious H.O.T. – Voted to play Pyro

For those whom are interested the game will be casted live by BlackoutGamingTV on their TwitchTV channel at 20:30 CEST on Sunday 12th May.

ETF2L Highlander Season 4 Wrapup

After a successful season I am glad to announce that Team Colonslash: Crash have finally emerged victorious. This is the first competition ever won by the team so congratulations! It also means automatic qualification to Division 3 next season.

On a sadder note however we have had to say goodbye to Cattonia since he will be moving on to play a new class next season. We wish him all the best!

ETF2L 6v6 Season 15 Divisions

With Season 15 about to get underway I am pleased to say we have three teams entering this season:

Team Colonslash: Reditio – Entering Division 2
Team Colonslash: Vibes – Entering Division 3
Team Colonslash: Academy – Entering Division 6

Here’s to hoping our teams are all successful this season! Also a massive well done to Team Colonslash: Reditio for being the first ever TC division 2 team.

We also look forward to seeing our Academy team get into action in what is most players first season of TF2. Have fun guys!

New designer

Firstly I’d like to say a personal thanks to Datenshi for all the hard work she’s put into numerous graphical tasks over the past year. It has been appreciated!

We do finally have a new designer. Stuntz will taking over the task and can be contacted by team leaders in order to get new avatars for your team members. Please do not add Stuntz on steam yourself; do it through your team leader! He doesn’t need 30+ friend requests from TC members asking for avatars. Alternatively feel free to ask myself to contact him for you.

TC provide server

We are pleased to announce that we are now providing a server that can be reserved by anyone from the TF2 community through FakkelBrigade. It is the first french server to be provided to the system and is already proving popular with around 6 reservations a day.

Website updates

I have been doing some tinkering with the website. Changes include:

Results for all teams can now be found under the new tab on the main menu. These can be easily updated by anyone with website access using TablePress.
Class icons have been added on the teams page. Check to ensure that they are correct since I do make mistakes!
A Schedule page has now been added. Currently this is only used to show TC events as well as TC.Crash’s upcoming fixtures though this could easily be used for more things if needed.
Teams page updated, folded teams removed.
Events page updated, TC TF2 Cup #1 added.
Awards updated, folded teams removed.
About page updated. Layout altered and facts updated.

For now I’m pretty sure that’s everything sorted. If anyone can think of anything they would like changing please let someone know!

Donations

Of course as always we would love to have some donations made to relieve the pressure on Spike Himself‘s pizza fund. Seriously though; all the servers and website is paid for out of his own back pocket so anything you can give would be fantastic.
